I'm interested to see how close it will be to thee book. I loved the book, then again I like almost anything written by Dahl.

Judging by what i've seen in trailer, the animation is done poorly in this movie, compared to Coraline or Tim Burton's stop motion pictures.

I just rented this film on DVD, and I was incredibly impressed. The stop-motion photography was really well done, and I recognized all the plot additions had come from Roald Dahl's foul papers, not pulled out of thin air. It was also nice hearing some old popular bands in the soundtrack like the Beach Boys or The Rolling Stones. But for me, the best part was that I rented it with low expectations, but it exceeded them and then some.
