Luna was still shaking by the hands from what she had done to both Littlefoot and Petrie as she heard Hunter speak. She looked over at her, hearing what she had told her, but yet, didn't seem to listen either as she was still stepping back from Hunter "I...I don't....want to.....they'll....hate me for it.....I didn't mean to....attack Littlefoot like that.....I didn't mean to....."

She looked to the ground for a moment as she continued to step back still, taking a few deep breaths still, her hands continuing to shake still "It was an accident....I promise it was.....I just didn't mean to.....really.....please....forgive me...." she looked back at Hunter again, sniffling some as well before turning away from her, not really wanting Hunter to see what she was like at the moment "Maybe I should....stay away from everyone.....for now....."she spoke some more as she started to walk off again.

Hunter didn't want to sound cruel...but she began to laugh aloud and tears of mirth rolled down her face. She stepped forward and wiped a tear from her adoptive sisters face. "Now listen Luna...I understand that it was an accident that you attacked Littlefoot. We all understand...you just have to remember...we grew up with Longtail. He has emotional issues that stretch back to the day he hatched, and there have been several times where he's attacked all of us out of fear, anger or just because he could. And several times' we've had to almost kill him to save ourselves." She sighed for a moment before speaking again. "While your motives for your attack could have been prevented....the others will understand if we go back and simply talk this through."

She then placed a paw on Luna's back with a sympathetic smile and asked, "Please come back and at least eat first so your outburst won't happen again."

Luna still had tears in her eyes as Hunter stood in her way, stopping where she was as Hunter spoke to her. However, she just kept quiet for the time being, even as Hunter offered to get her something to eat, as Luna shook her head a little bit "I....I can't...." was all she said as she still didn't want to have to go and eat Zaine's body.

After a few seconds of keeping quiet, she spoke again "I'm going....to go and....find....sweet bubbles....." which was true too, that's all she really was in the mood for eating right now, giving Hunter a very quick little smile before starting to walk off past her adoptided sister as she was now just wanting to find sweet bubbles, nothing else.

"I'm fine," Littlefood nodded. "Luckily she didn't bite down too hard on my tail." Like he said, the bite marks weren't too deep, so there was no rush of blood. "Thank you Pearl." He of course ignored Cyrix's last comment because he didn't want to think about it anymore. Hurting Longtail to make him useful was out of the question, but he couldn't deny that Longtail was acting extremely different now. "Pearl, I'm really worried about Longtail," he whispered to her. "Cyrix is so sure he's become useless after Zaine's death, but I don't want to have to torture him to bring him back to normal."

As Petrie stood and sighed at everything calming down, he was glad to see that Littlefoot was mainly unhurt too.

"You...ok, the both of you?" Twiz flapped over. They'd already gotten an answer from Littlefoot, but he was just not forgetting him while he checked on Petrie too.

Petrie nodded, "Yeah, a nick to the my back foot's worse I got, could be worse, could have been my wing" he smiled and shrugged, then gave a slight shiver at all that had happened.

As typical from hatchling and on, Petrie still wasn't afraid in the midst of a friend in danger, just before or afterward.

Luna had walked onwards still, getting further and further away from everyone else, her hands were still shaking from what she had done earlier on. However, she just could not find any sweet bubbles anyway and she was doing her best to keep her instincts from taking over again.

But it didn't last long, she heard something in the nearby trees, something was rustling to which she just licked her lips and seconds later, bolted into the trees in search for the source of the rustling, to her, it was just food, she needed something to eat, and this was now her best bet.

She saw her prey, it was a young Longneck, to which she was now chasing down, attempting to bite the Longneck on the tail as she continued to chase it down before leaping and jumping onto its back. The Longneck was screaming for help, but nothing, no answer as Luna bit down onto the neck of the dinosaur seconds later and tore out some flesh and guzzled it down as the youn Longneck started to stumble around, already feeling the loss of the blood before collapsing onto the ground.

Luna jumped off in the process and growled at the now injured Longneck before giving off a bit of a roar as well before approaching it and bit down once again, this time, killing the Longneck in the process before starting to eat from its body.

Littlefoot nodded. "I'll be fine. Thank you Twiz." He looked around, but he couldn't find Luna or Hunter anywhere. He imagined Hunter was out trying to find Luna, but he was more worried for Luna's safety despite her attack. "Anybody see Luna and Hunter?" Then out of the corner of his eye he saw Luna and the young longneck. He winced at the sight of the young fast biter eating her prey, but he knew it must have been for the best. Then again, it made him wonder if something like that was going to happen again. "Luna," he whispered. He looked at Cyrix. "Is that the kind of emotion you want controlling Longtail? Uncontrollable rage?"

Hunter was rather surprised when Luna jumped into the bush. She rushed forward to see what was happening, and for a brief moment she was saddened by the loss of the young longneck, but then she smiled and decided not to interrupt Luna while she was eating. 'Luna may not like eating meat...but once she's done...she should listen to her head instead of her belly.' thought Hunter with a small grin on her face.

Pearl looked up at Littlefoot and replied, "Well...whenever Longtail looks into my eyes....I can see him trying to smile. I think he wants to be happy, but he's afraid that he'll lose someone else if he lets his emotions out. Maybe when he looks at me...he sees hope...or perhaps I remind him of a quality Zaine had....I don't know, but Cyrix has to be wrong."

Cyrix sighed at Littlefoots comment and simply turned and stepped away knowing the young longneck simply wouldn't understand his point of view.

Longtail stopped walking and looked around at his friends. He stared up at the sky for several long minutes before being interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Longtail...I know...this isn't easy for you my nephew...but you must understand, this is the circle of life...something none of us can stop. Zaine made a choice...just like you made a choice to save me. Please Longtail...we care about you, but you have to show some emotion or else you'll just become-" Cyrix never finished his sentence, as he grabbed for his neck and felt something wrapped tightly around it...and squeezing tighter.

Longtail stopped looking at the sky and stared straight into Cyrix's eyes. His breathing came faster, but his face, still remained empty and emotionless. He didn't speak, he simply stared at Cyrix while constricting his tail ever tighter, cutting of the rainbow faces air supply.

Sweetie looked over and in a moment of sorrow flapped over and tried to talk Longtail out of whatever he was trying to do. "Longtail...p-please...this...isn't the way to do things. J-just...relax...and try not to worry...please."

Terri and Dein both stood up, now finished eating their fill. "We should get going and catch up with the others." Both sharpteeth said together to their son, Dil, and Greg.

Azure continued to hold onto Twiz and tried to keep her composure.

Luna continued to eat before she had finished, yet, her instincts were still upon her, she still hadn't snapped out of it and shot her head around to see Hunter not too far from her as she gave off a growl to her, almost as if she was protecting her food.

She growled a second time, more of a warning to her, she was indeed, lost in her instincts as she turned back and took another bite from the longneck, swallowing some more meat.

As she ate a little more, she growled in the process as well, she was no longer listning to her stomach either....it was rather difficult to tell what she was listning to now. She shot her head back around at Hunter, growling at her once again, especially telling that she had not moved from when she had last growled at her, her growl this time, was louder....it was almost if she actually meant it....and what was more, she was crouched down as well....as if to attack Hunter if she were to get close....

Hunter looked at Luna at first with shock at the sounds Luna was making, as she knew those weren't just mock warnings...she was serious about defending her meal....and Hunter suddenly smiled. This was a rare moment, with Luna saying she wanted peace, but now being lost to whatever emotion was coursing through her veins it was a perfect chance to see just how well Luna could defend herself. 'I just have to remember not to hurt her...she's still my adoptive sister...but still...this could be fun.' thought Hunter as her grin turned into a full blown smile.

Hunter then stood steady on all four of her paws, and keeping an eye on Luna's posture stepped forward slowly, gauging how close she could get before Luna attacked.

Luna continued to growl at Hunter, watching her step forward as she growled in the sharptooth language 'Stay back! This is my food! Only warning! I will hurt you!' was what she had growled to Hunter.

However, she could tell that Hunter was going to stop as she crouched down even more before leaping at her sister, claws and teeth exposed....she meant business....

She landed on the ground near Hunter and growled even more in the language of the sharpteeth 'I told you to stay back! You didn't listen! This is my food, not yours!' she was being rather protective of what she had done....and what was more....she was not herself at the moment.

If flyers were capable of biting their bottom beak's, what's what Petrie was currently working at as he tried to regain his composure to at...well another of Longtail's just...being him. They'd grown up with this, they knew about the flyer's unpredictable behavior, to an extent.

Twiz, not so use to it, but getting there, just focused on not thinking about it while he tried to comfort Azure.

Littlefoot was shocked to see Longtail turn on his uncle. He didn't know what to do. He was still upset with how Cyrix wanted to deal with Longtail, but regardless the rainbowface was still a part of his herd, and he was not going to let another member of the herd die. He was right. Longtail is out of control. We have to do something about him, but I'm afraid to do it. Everybody was trying to talk him out of killing Cyrix, but Longtail was unphased by their attempts. Without hesitation, or thinking at all, Littlefoot whipped his tail around and smacked Longtail off of his uncle. "Longtail, stop this now! This isn't helping at all!"

Pearl was prepared to act, but was still shocked when she saw Littlefoot lash out with his tail and smack her mate. She stepped over and asked, "Do...you think that was wise Littlefoot? W-what if...he...attacks all of us?"

Cyrix gasped aloud and held his neck as he took in large breaths of air, trying to make sure his throat still worked. He coughed several times and then sat down on the ground to collect his thoughts on what had just happened. 'He....he was really...going to kill me! Well...that's it then...I no longer have a choice....for the safety of our entire herd....my nephew....has...to die.' he thought to himself sadly.

Longtail felt himself hit the dirt beneath him and felt the sting of Littlefoots tail. While still on his belly he turned to look at his friend, and after several minutes of pure silence...tears began to fall from Longtail's eyes, and his body began to shudder and his voice finally cracked as he said out loud.
"I,...I...I'm sorry....Z-Zaine...forgive me...."

Azure was speechless at seeing Littlefoot hit Longtail, but as she watched Longtail begin to cry she couldn't help but grin with a gleam of hope in her eyes that their friends would be alright.

Hunter gave a mock roar at Luna and said in sharptooth, "You really think you can stop me?! HA! Just try and stop me from taking your food! She then jumped forward at Luna hoping she'd take the bait and fight back.

Luna stepped back slightly as Hunter jumped before she lunged forward and bit at her sister with a roar afterwards before stepping back a little bit and jumped forward a second time. She did not seem to care if she were to hurt Hunter or not as she spoke in sharptooth I will kill you....your throat will be ripped out....while your whole body will be unrecognized by everyone of your stupid friends

She spoke with meaning in the language as well....something was indeed rather wrong with her. She had eaten meat, something she afraid to do, especially since something like this were to happen once she were to actually eat meat....being lost in her instincts.

When Longtail finally spoke and began to cry, Littlefoot finally began to feel some hope. He's finally showing emotions again. Maybe he will be okay. Littlefoot glanced at Cyrix. He will no doubt want to kill him now, but something doesn't seem right. I can't let him do it. Littlefoot slowly approached Longtail and lowered his head. I'm sorry I had to hit you. Are you okay?"

Longtail looked up at Littlefoot with tears still falling from his eyes, but a weak smile on his beak as he replied in a soft voice. "Y-yes...I'm....okay."

Pearl stepped over and slowly helped Longtail onto his feet so he could stand, and when she looked into his eyes she could see a spark of hope, and that made her smile at her mate.

Cyrix however began to laugh aloud as he stepped over to his nephew.
"Really, a simple knock on the head....I could have done that." he said still laughing rather joyfully as he turned to Littlefoot and commented, "You showoff. Great job."

Azure hugged Twiz and gleefully stated, "Oh Longtail's back to normal! I was so worried about him."

Sweetie unexpectedly hugged Longtail upon seeing him speaking and crying, she herself couldn't say much, but her joy was clearly evident on her face.

Hunter's face changed upon realizing that Luna was more than serious about this...as she responded in sharptooth. "Alright Luna! No more games! Time to see how much blood you can draw!" Hunter then charged at a flat out run and attempted to bite down on Lunas' leg.

Luna growled rather loudly as she charged at Hunter as well before leaping, a few feet before Hunter got close, so that she could land onto Hunter's back, only to be thrown off immediatly.

She growled a second time as she slid along her feet, not even responding to what Hunter had said earlier on, too busy concentrating on what she was doing now as she slid to a halt and straight away, rushed forward again in order to attack Hunter a second time.

As she rushed forward, she was watching Hunter, her mind in the process, very, very slowly, starting to return back to normal once again, seeming to glare at Hunter as she stopped a few feet away from her, crouched down slightly, almost as if to attack, but yet, wasn't going to.

Luna seemed to just watch Hunter rather carefully, her breathing was now different as she remained at a stand off with her. She let off just a low sounding growl before she spoke, not in sharptooth, but in a normal voice "H-H-H-Hunter?"

Littlefoot sighed with relief. "You really had us worried there for a sec Longtail. We thought you were never going to even speak again. I'm glad to see that's not the case." When Cyrix came over and complimented him, Littlefoot took it with a grain of salt. He didn't show it in his face, but he knew something was up with the rainbowface. Just moments ago he hinted at the idea of killing Longtail, but now he seemed happy to see his nephew okay. Either way, he couldn't be too sure of his true motives. Littlefoot merely smiled and replied, "I'm just glad you're okay."

Cyrix still wasn't sure what had truly brought Longtails emotions back, but he was going to keep a very close, and physical hold on his nephew for a while until he was sure Longtail could truly trusted again. Until he was sure, he decided to keep up appearances. "Well with that finally out of the way, I say we keep going. Littlefoot would you like to lead the way?"

Hunter stood her ground and faced Luna as she spoke.
"Yeah...nice to see ya coming around. How do you feel?" she asked out of curiosity and genuine concern.
