Adykon extended his hand "Sorry. I was a bit distracted. You are free to join us, Farkstriker." What had happened a moment ago was more than just a distraction, however. Once again, Adykon had been contacted, but not by a female archmage. This time, it was Kluthu, the archmage of the court of Minbenthac's king. Inside his head, Kluthu spoke to the warrior.
"Blast it, mage! Do you have to be contacting me now? I don't need all these voices in my head!"
"Sorry, Adykon, but the king wants you to join him as soon as possible. It took me a while to find you. Astral magic is not my specialty, and you were nowhere to be found near the palace, so-"
"Never mind, I'll be right there!"
Now that the conversation in his head had ended, Kluthu's thoughts were no longer in Adykon's mind. Turning to Farstriker, he continued his conversation. "We can get you some arrows from the palace armory, the best you've ever seen. Are you ready to go?"
Meanwhile...
"Agreed. You can adventure with me and everyone else. I'd welcome it. I'll also keep you in comfort and pleasure, and hold you above every other wife. Now, as far as keeping the second part of my promise... I think we should get to know each other a bit... more intimately. Shall we retire to the master bedroom and take a look, my love?"
