Being an avid gamer (as most of you know), I have a few codes of conduct I stick to whenever I play a new game:
1. Always attempt a new game on a difficulty setting no lower than normal or medium.
2. I never cheat in order to get me through the game! That means no game guides, passwords, cheat codes, unlimited ammo, level skips or anything like that until I've finished the game at least once. After that, I'll mess about with cheats and the like but never before!
3. Always give online players respect. I never shun newbies, boast about my playing skills or otherwise act unkindly to other players. With this attitude, I've helped 3 randoms from somewhere in the world get through Resident Evil 5
4. I always aim for 100% completion of a game (if I can). Also, I don't tend to purchase a brand new game until I've completed the last one. (Having said that, I've still got about 5-6 games in my library to finish so guess that'll keep me busy
)
5. I'm a strong believer in fair play. It really gets my goat when players boast about accomplishment they've only acquired through glitches or through cheating.
Like permenant speed boosts in racing games or using headshot/aim bots on FPS's.
