Redditgifts - online secret santa

Hiya all!

The most wonderful time of the year is coming up, and to celebrate the holiday spirit I decide to share the following with you today:

Redditgifts is a website on which you can join secret santa-like gift exchanges throughout the entire year. Basically you sign up for an exchange with a free Reddit account, fill out your information and wait to be matched. Once you are matched, you receive the info of someone else who joined the gift exchange and try to find the perfect gift for them, while someone else will do the same for you. The only thing they ask is that the gift has a minimum value of $20 ( ), which is a fair requirement.

I've joined 6 themed exchanges so far, they have a different set each month. There has only been one time that I didn't receive a gift, but they have a good back-up system in place in case you miss out like that. Right now there are sign-ups for the big one. The one that started them all. The actual secret santa.

I really enjoy giving gifts, and giving them to a stranger is extremely satisfying. Knowing you can make someone's day when they had the worst week of their life feels absolutely amazing. And receiving a gift is nice too of course

Anyway, just thought I'd share with you guys! I think there are many people in this community who would have a great time joining something like this. Feel free to ask any questions as I've been doing this for quite some time now!

I did that last year! It was super fun, I got a Lucio shirt, Smorz cereal and some high-quality pens in the mail. The only bummer was that the person I sent a gift to never posted about receiving it, but that's on him and not the Secret Santa setup. Probably gonna do it again this year

Yeah it's a big bummer when they don't post what they have received. It can be nervewrecking. Did they receive it? Did they just not like it? Etc
